История пожарной охраны Гельзенкирхена продолжается в девяти эпизодах. WDR снимал второй сезон «ОГНЯ И ПЛАМЕНИ» на двух станциях — уже хорошо известной пожарно-спасательной станции Бюэр и новой станции Хесслер, которую пожарная охрана ввела в эксплуатацию всего за несколько месяцев до этого. 70 дней подряд, 24 часа в сутки — съемочная группа «ОГНЯ И ПЛАМЕНИ» снова работала в пожарной охране Гельзенкирхена.
