Персонажи Пат и Мат были вновь оживлены в 2009 году для нового сезона: Pat a Mat na venkově (Пат и Мат в деревне). Первый эпизод, Postele (Кровати), премьерой состоялся на 50-м Злинском кинофестивале в 2010 году. С 2011 по 2015 год вышли еще 12 эпизодов, произведенных Patmat Film и снятых в формате 16:9. Бенеш срежиссировал и написал все 13 эпизодов. Восемь эпизодов были выпущены на DVD в 2013 году и получили свою телевизионную премьеру на голландском канале VPRO 9 июня того же года, остальные последовали вскоре.
