После драматических событий финала второго сезона Лора и Кармилла оказываются запертыми в подвале зловещей библиотеки университета Сайлас. Разумеется, единственным логичным решением становится устроить киноночь в стиле Холлстейн. Как удачно, что Лора буквально натыкается на старые VHS-кассеты, которые могут раскрыть какое-то таинственное преступление — любопытство берет верх над Лорой, и они отправляются в древний 2012 год.
