Патти переезжает в Пальмовый город к тёте Джейн и её мужу Джорджу, чтобы помогать им в больнице. В первый же день в новом городе, Патти ввязывается в неприятности по вине местных мошенников - братьев Йоты и Гуты. Они решают похитить Лори, дочь богатых родителей, чтобы получить большой выкуп. По ошибке, к бестолковым воришкам попадает и Патти. Вместе с Лори, им удаётся одолеть похитителей, и вернуться домой. Так Патти и Лори становятся лучшими подругами. Впереди их ждут ещё множество приключений и новых знакомств.
