Краткое содержание
Вся прогрессивная молодежь Японии болеет новой карточной игрой «Авангард»! Фанаты увлеченно собирают колоды, отчаянно ищут редкие карты и оттачивают мастерство где угодно: в школе, дома, в парке на скамейке, чтобы достойно выступить среди серьезных игроков на официальных турнирах. Десятиклассник Тосики Кай обыграл всех в районе, его имя известно в клубах и кафе, но сам от этого не очень-то счастлив. По восточным канонам, для движения вперед нужен вызов, необходим соперник, которого должна послать судьба. Почивание на лаврах означает застой, противный духу истинного бойца. Тосики все понимает, но где же тот, кто снова зажжет в его душе пламя борьбы? Ждать осталось недолго!
