TONY EFREMOV ARTIST
Tony Efremov is a Russian Recording Artist,
Songwriter, Multi-instrumentalist, Music Producer
and TV Producer.
His compositions combine elements of
Pop Ballads and Electro-Pop.
Tony Efremov began his career in 2009
as Music Supervisor, TV Producer for a TV Channel
in Moscow.
Before beginning his recording career in
2010 with the release of the song "Remember me"
as "Ginger Jellies".
This song was released in UK by EMI, Roundhouse Records
and "The Live & Unsigned" on the "30 best unsigned
artists 2010" CD compilation.
Tony met two A&Rs who took him to the next level,
a wonderful guy Alistair Webber from Island Records.
And the very wise man Jamie Nelson a senior executive
from Mercury Records at the time (now a POLYDOR UK executive).
Both of them were very supportive
and helpful to meet the right people.
Since Tony's been writing the material
for his first album.
Tony'll release his debut single "The Tears Go By"
and an EP with LAD Records in 2013.
A stunning Music Video was shot
for "The Tears Go By" and was planned
to be broadcasted on TV stations.
Tony's been collaborating with various DJ/Producers
from the House scene who are from different cultures
and parts of the world bringing an Electro touch
to his compositions.
LIFE AND EDUCATION
EARLY LIFE & EDUCATION 1984-2003
Tony was born on the south of Russia
in a small city named Volgodonsk.
Both of Tony parents are engineers working
in Energy Field.
At the tender age Tony's grandmother
a Chemistry Teacher greatly influenced him.
The Chemistry of Love was born
and The Beatles made the rest.
By listening to the Beatles the young Tony
had a changed life.
He knew his fate was sealed.
Tony taught himself different instruments. He became a
multi-instrumentalist playing guitar, bass, drums.
The words were flying by, pictures were accumulating.
He was a born songwriter.
In his teenager age, Music became a channel to express
his feelings to get them out…
Tony was a good pupil in school. After completing high school,
he went to study English Literature in a Moscow University.
At Univesity he set up his first band "The Liverpools"
who played The Beatles and Paul McCartney songs.
The university played an important role in leading
Tony to his reputation and building his music career.
Tony met his first clear success among female classmates
who find him the true image of the perfect lover.
Tony's russian musical touch was born.
2008-2010 TV, GINGER JELLIES, EMI AND "THE LIVE & UNSIGNED"
As soon as Tony graduated from the university.
He started as a music supervisor in a TV Station
then rapidly became a TV Producer.
In 2009 Kate a TV Presenter and Tony formed a band in order
to play live music.
They met success and produced their first tracks.
They've been encouraged to go to England.
Tony's the music producer wasn't only born
subsequently he became very prolific.
They won the Live & Unsigned 2010 music competition.
The Live & Unsigned, Roundhouse Records
and EMI release the song "Remember me" on the
"30 best unsigned artists 2010" CD compilation.
Ginger Jellies song aired
in several English radio stations.
Meanwhile Kate the member of Ginger Jellies got married. To commit into her
new life the band split up with the release of their song as wedding gift.
2010-PRESENT DEBUT SINGLE
